With Mr. Slater's kind permission, it will also appear on the cover of the upcoming authorized biography tentatively titled: When Character Met Circumstance: The Life of LT Michael P. - Gary Williams is a non-fiction author located in West Chester, OH about twenty miles north of Cincinnati. A career public servant, he was raised in a very small town with traditional small town values that included the near reverant respect for those who have worn and presently wear our nation's uniform. The oldest son of a decorated Korean War combat veteran, he concentrates his writing efforts on those common individuals who, in that moment of decison have chosen the extraordinary course of honor, integrity, duty, and valor. Married with six children, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Leadership/Human Resource Management with academic Honors from Franklin University in Columbus, and a Masdter's in Public Administration (MPA)from the University of Dayton. He served as a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the Marion Technical College, and a member of the Adjunct Faculty of Southwestern College in Springdale and Sinclair Community College in Dayton. He has guest lectured at many of the colleges and universities throughout Ohio as well as local, state, and national criminal justice organizations.
